Why we Practice Yoga

Yoga unites the mind, body, and soul in a way that eases tension, expands our breath and deepens our connection to our body.  This beautiful practice also gives us the gift of connection with like-minded seekers, making life a rich tapestry of experiences.

Physical Wellness

Yoga is a great way to improve your endurance in other physical activities. After a run, or heavy workout, yoga will help your body relax and recuperate, while stretching, strengthening, and lengthening muscles. Yoga brings us back into our bodies.

Calming the Mind

Yoga not only helps improve the body, but also enables us to become more mindful as a practice of moving meditation. Through a disciplined practice, we gain clarity and focus, helping us to stay in tune with our mind, body and spirit.
